We also have a little girl, who is now 5 years old, who was diagnosed at 1 year of age with static microcephaly, partial agnesis of the corpus collosum and a seizure disorder. She is the one who reminds me to count my blessings every day! She now attends an early childhood program in our school district where she receives OT, PT, Speech Therapy, and a vision specialist visits her also. She has been attending since she has been 3 year old. She does not walk or talk yet but she will she is a very determined little girl! We're hoping that within the next few years these will come together for her! She is just now pulling up to furniture. She also has some visual problems. She does not have binocular vision, so legally she is blind, but she manages very well to track items. Hang in there, the 1st couple of years are the hardest! When she was born, everything was completely normal but she just fell off the growth charts!! I had to be really persistant with my docters to get the services she needed before she was diagnosed so be tough and follow your own instincts because she's your child and you know her best!
