I have had these symptoms for several years now, and always attributed them to either ear infections, bad (or infected) molars, or "TMJ". What the cause is, I don't know, but I sometimes get a week or two of relief from antibiotics... Problem is, I've been on so many, so often that most of them don't work anymore. I have never heard of "PET", but I suppose it's possible that this "PET" condition may be the problem.... How do you find out??? What are the treatments, and what causes it??? I definately have the same symptoms!!! j-a-double-"Z"-a969 at you know where.
