My son who is now 22 used to take ritalin until it gave him head aches also. Then he refused to take it anymore.He wouldn't take anything. I think because of his add he got into quite a bit of trouble that has been on going for the last 7 years! Please get them to try other medications. There are some out there or maybe lower doses would help.Good Luck! I only wished my son would of had some kind of help.Things may of turned out different.
