I have suffered with fibromyalgia for 5 years know. I have had 9 MRI's done, been to so many dr's that I cant even count, told so many different things, I have had all the epidural blocks I can have right now. Im having trouble finding a Dr. that will treat my pain, Ive been told by my pain management dr that I dont wont to be labled with fibromyalgia, (like I have a choice) my dr that diagnosed me said that I would just have to learn to live with it. Everyone that suffers with this disease knows that its not something you can learn to live with. I thank Ive done pretty good for 5 years, but Im at the breaking point. I went back and had another MRI done to check for the narrow opening at the base of my skull, this will let me know if I have enough cerebal fluid getting to my brain, I will keep you posted. There is a dr in Chicago that Ive been talking to and he treats this disease, I will be making the trip soon and will let everyone know what the results are.
