Started having severe pain and numbness down my right leg and into my foot in April this year. Standing is the worst. Went to a neurologist who put me through 6 months of drugs and tests but not until he told me to come back in 4 months after no relief did I go to a new primary care physician who ordered an MRI. Turns out I have herniated L5-s1. Can't get into the neurosurgeon till end of Nov. I am dying here. The pain is so intense and not even Darvocet helps. Can't shop or go for a walk. Thank God I can sit on my stool at work to make it through the day. I need some relief as I am starting to lose control of my leg while walking. This has been the six months from hell. Don't even know what to expect next.
