I also have RSD. My doctor has prescribed Neurontin 1800mg a day, Duragesic Patch 75, Klonopin 0.5mg at bedtime, and Zanaflex 8mg at bedtime. I'm also getting Prolotherapy at the site of injuries that originally caused the RSD. In addition to this, I do pool therapy 4 times a week and I am on a high-protein diet that my doctor reccomended for healing. The one I am on is called The Diana Schwartzbein Principle. It cuts out additives, chemicals, and preservatives. I have lost 20 pounds just laying in bed except for a little bit of movement in my pool therapy sessions, a very little other movement, though some days are better than others! You should also get a team of doctors working on your case. I have a pain management doctor, an anestheologist, a primary care RSD doctor, a physical therapist, and some people reccomend getting a phsycologist. I currently don't because I have a tremendous amount of support from my family and friends. You really need to do a lot of research to find the right people to put on your medical team. If you live in California, I can reccomend some people. Good luck!
