Fibromyalgia is such a terrible thing to have. I had been diagnosed by four rheumatologists four years ago. However, I keep switching rheumys because I still have this horrible, constant pain. Of course I have many other symptoms. Just a couple are extreme fatigue and sleep problems. I have tried many different medications and they simply do not work for my pain. In addition, I have reactions to so many meds that I have to go off of that med and try something different. This is the most frustrating malady I have ever had in my entire life. I am seriously considering going to the Shands Hospital in Gainesville Florida. Truthfully, I do think I have FMS but doctors do not seem to be familiar with this syndrone. I don't know for the life of me why the specialists don't read a book or two. It appears that I know more than these "specialists". And that is not good or satisfying!
