Hi Ida, It's good to hear from you! I'm glad that your fatigue has diminished. That is a blessing! For some people, PMR doesn't go away, but if that is what you have and you have found a way to live around it, that is all one can do. I am trying to do the same with my RA and PMR. I am taking a nap most days, and then I'm carrying on with my day most days. I am on 16mg of Prednisone right now, and I won't attempt another taper for a couple weeks. The last attempt failed a good two weeks after I though all was going well, and that is why I had to go up on the dose until the fatigue and pain finally cleared up most of the way. I am at about 80%. It's good your doctor is trying different treatments, and it seems that the antibiotics have helped you. I've read that they can lower inflammation in people with RA too. Don't worry too much about being on less than 10mg of Prednisone. That is considered fairly safe and is often a maintenance dose. I wish I could get down to that. My next doctor appointment is in early June. I am eager to hear what he has to say. Take care of yourself and post soon. Shar
