Hi Shar- Glad to hear from you. It's good that the Mobic is helping. It's too bad some medicines have so many side effects. This weight thing and Prednisone is an endless battle. I have gained back all the weight I lost when I was sick this winter. As for the Prednisone, I am on 8mg this week without the alternate-day taper. I see my internist next week and the rheumatologist the week after. It's amazing, I can feel the difference between higher than 10 mg and below 10 mg. Actually, I'm beginning to think this PMR is for life. And again, I tell myself that other people have worse illnesses. I am trying to live my life in spite of PMR and grab the good days.
