Hi Ida, Thank you for your post. I've been feeling a bit better the last 3 days, so keep your fingers crossed. I don't know if it's just the PMR behaving a little, or what. I had my blood test, and tomorrow, I will see my doctor. I'm eager to learn what the results are, and what's next. It's good that your doc it making sure your Prednisone isn't too high for too long, but maybe it should be supported with something like Celbrex or Vioxx, since you still have quite a bit of pain. My doc had me take 25 mg of Vioxx at night, when my night time pain was bad, and it did seem to help, but I haven't had night time pain for months. As for your night time pain, maybe, you could ask your doc about taking something a little stronger than Tylenol PM. Does he know that you awaken with it? I have read that some people take Ultram at night for arthritis pain. Others take some Elavil at bedtime, to help them sleep better. Just having a good night's sleep, could be just the ticket for feeling better during the day. I'm sure your doc would have ideas on this. I hope you feel a lot better soon! Shar
