Hi Shar- Just a note on the ongoing Prednisone story. My rheumatologist said to taper to 5 mg of Prednisone- I am on 6/5 mg now and in a lot of pain. He said the pain is "pseudo-arthritis" caused by the low dose of Prednisone. He thinks and I do too, that the PMR is gone- my sedrates have been normal for the last five months. He added Celebrx (so far no help). I hope you and everyone else does not have this reaction. This is not a complaint, I may actually be getting better. I know there are people out there whose pain is not pseudo and their arthritis is real. How are you doing? Are you feeling any better? Best wishes, Ida
