Hi Ida, I am glad that you are regaining some of your energy. That is a real plus! Will your doctors have you eventually get off of the antibiotics? At least they are helping you. My doctor also said that for some people, PMR doesn't go away. I guess we have to cope with it, and hope for the best. I am still on 14mg of Prednisone, and I am waiting before I try another taper. My pain and swelling seems to be under control now, and it's been 3 weeks since my last taper. I am pleased that I haven't had a relapse, but I don't want to push things by tapering too fast. I think the Vioxx that my doctor added to my medicine mix, is helping too. Hang in there, Ida! Have a great Fourth of July! Shar
