Hi Ida, It's good to hear from you. How is your taper on the Prednisone going? Your post mentions that the 9mg dose is giving you quite a bit of pain. Has that stabilized by now? I hope so. I have managed to taper my Prednisone to 12mg. I hope to lower it again next week. I am on Mobic right now, and it is helping me with the taper, along with Enbrel and MTX. I don't know what I'll do if Mobic is removed from the market like Bextra just was yesterday. It is a Cox 2 Inhibitor. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I am not having much luck in reducing my weight yet. I was hoping that I would shed some now that my Prednisone dose is down a little bit. Oh well. Maybe soon. Let me know how you are doing, Ida.
