Hi Shar- It is great to hear from you. Also glad to hear the good news that you were able to taper 1mg of Prednisone without symptoms. Hope this is still so. Also it is interesting about the addition of Vioxx to your medications. I am currently on the 9/8mg Prednisone taper. I do have symtoms- increased aches and pains, etc. However, recently experienced a new symptom- hot flashes and sweating, even though I am past menopause. (It happened to my sister-in-law who is also taking Prednisone). I am going to persevere with all the symptoms until I see my internist and rheumatologist in June. I really don't want to increase the Prednisone again. The fatigue is not as bad, but I am still on mega-mega doses of two anti-biotics. I am learning to manage with this thing, whatever it is.
